What Savari does not do
- Savari does not sell your personal data.
- The app has no advertising and no third-party analytics tools.
- Savari does not read your contacts list or use advertising identifiers.
- The app does not track your location in the background.
Who we share data with
- The people you travel with, who see only what the trip needs, such as names, ratings, pick-up and drop-off points and the driver’s photo and vehicle. In City rides and City to City, phone numbers are not shown.
- Companies that run parts of Savari: Google Cloud for servers and uploaded files, Supabase for the database, and Google Maps Platform for maps, places and routes.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect someone’s safety. This can include the sealed safety record of an account deleted within the past year.
How documents are protected
- Identity, licence and vehicle photos are not public. They open only through signed links that stop working within 12 hours.
- Savari’s servers, uploaded files and database are held in Mumbai, India.
- An unfinished driver registration with no activity for 30 days is deleted with its photos and documents.
- Uploaded files that were never attached to anything are deleted after 30 days.
Your choices
- Change your name, email, photo, language and other settings in the app.
- Turn off offers and news notifications in Settings.
- Turn off location, camera, photos, microphone or notification access in your phone’s settings. Some features stop working without them.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected, through Help in the app.
- Delete your account yourself, at any time, under Settings in the app.
When you delete your account
- Deletion is complete and permanent. You are signed out at once, your profile disappears from the app and your phone number is freed for a brand-new account.
- Trips and payments shared with other people stay, without your name, phone number or bank details, linked only to an anonymous record of the former account.
- A sealed safety record is kept for one year for safety incidents, disputes and police requests. Savari’s team can open it only on purpose, after writing down the reason, and every opening is recorded.
- After one year, a daily job destroys the sealed record and the document and vehicle photos it holds.
