Safety you can see in every trip

From checking drivers before their first ride to help one tap away during the trip, this is how Savari looks after riders and drivers.

Before the trip

  • Drivers are checked

    Every driver sends their CNIC, driving licence, a selfie holding the licence and their licence number and dates. The Savari team reviews them before the driver can take rides.

  • Vehicles are checked

    Vehicle photos and the registration card are reviewed, and every ride mode has to be approved for the vehicle.

  • You choose who drives you

    You see each driver’s offer before accepting it. A driver is matched to you only when you accept an offer, or when you switch on auto-accept for offers at exactly your fare.

During the trip

  • Live tracking

    Follow your driver on the map from the moment they head to you until you arrive.

  • Trip sharing

    Send your driver’s name, pick-up, destination, fare and arrival time to anyone through the messaging app you prefer.

  • Chat and calls in the app

    Talk to your driver or rider with in-app messages and voice calls. In City rides and City to City, neither side sees the other’s phone number.

  • SOS

    Tap SOS during an active trip to alert the Savari team with your location.

After the trip

  • Two-way ratings

    Riders and drivers rate each other after every trip.

  • Help with a trip

    Open the trip in your history and choose Help. Your trip reference goes with your message to the Savari team.

What SOS does

  • SOS is available during an active trip, for riders and for drivers.
  • It sends an alert with your current location and your trip to the Savari team.
  • Once sent, the alert stays open until the Savari team has handled it.

Safety tips

  • Check before you get in

    Make sure the driver’s photo, name and vehicle match what the app shows.

  • Let someone know

    Share your trip details with a person you trust, especially at night.

  • Trust your instincts

    If something does not feel right, you do not have to continue the trip.

  • Stay reachable

    Keep your phone charged and stay aware of your surroundings.

Safety for drivers too

Drivers have the same Safety screen, SOS button and in-app chat and calls, and riders are rated after every trip as well.
